Situated in a beautiful canal-side village and with a ‘living canal’ on its doorstep, Stoke Bruerne is an ideal place to explore the story of our waterways. 

Still on display,for a limited period, 'The Idle Women' exhibition. A fasinating insight into our waterways and the young women who worked on them during
World War 2. Ends Sunday 28th June 2009.

Whether you are traveling through Northamptonshire and just need to take a break in your journey or, planning a day out with family or friends, this beautiful rural village is definatly worth a visit.
