Car parking Pay and display car parking is available outside the Museum and elsewhere around the Docks. Parking spaces for blue badge holders are provided outside the museum.
Park & Ride
Park and ride services are available Monday – Saturday from Waterwells, Quedgely (near M5 junction 12) and the Old Cattle Market, St Oswalds Road. Both routes pass the entrance to the Docks.
By rail & bus
We are 15-20 minute walk via Clarence Street, Eastgate Street and Southgate Street from Gloucester railway and bus stations, which are situated across the road from each other on Bruton Way.
There is a pedestrian entrance to the docks near the corner of Southgate Street and Commercial Road. Taxi ranks are situated both at the railway station and near the bus station.

Season ticket With our annual season ticket you can visit all of the three National Waterways Museums time and time again at no extra cost for a 12 month period.

Groups
If your party includes 10 or more people we are delighted to offer our highly competitive group package which includes discounted entrance to the museum and on the boat trip.
During your visit there is plenty of time to tour the museum at your leisure, have lunch or afternoon tea in the museum café or browse for gifts in the museum shop.

Access
There is wheelchair access to all galleries and displays, however due to the nature of the dock area some pathways around the site are cobbled and uneven. Unfortunately there is no wheelchair access to floating exhibits.
