Conference Unveils Way Forward for Conservation of
The Waterways Trust is holding a one day conference at the National Waterways Museum Ellesmere Port on Thursday 27th March 2008. ‘Old Boats, New Life’ will report upon the successful development of a scoring system for inland waterways craft. The system will be used to determine priorities for development and interpretation of the national inland waterways boat collection.

The National Waterways Museum Gloucester Docks is to undergo a facelift this winter to update and refresh its exhibits. Timed to complement the gathering pace of regeneration in the whole docks area, the refurbished museum is due to open to the public in May 2008. The revitalised museum will be lively, vibrant and designed to appeal to all ages but particularly families.
