The National Waterways Museum, Gloucester Docks is housed in a Grade II listed warehouse at the heart of Gloucester's docks, and beside the Gloucester & Sharpness Ship Canal and the River Severn.
With its stunning location, historic boat collection and recently refurbished displays set amidst ranks of warehouse pillars, the museum is perfectly placed to tell the story of Britain's waterways, and to bring to life Gloucester's stunning docks.
During school holidays we always offer family fun activities and no visit is complete without a boat trip on the Gloucester and Sharpness Ship Canal.
