Re-developed in 2006, our new entrance now houses an impressive cafe and retail area, providing a fitting welcome to the museum.
The Waterside Café is a superb place to have a bite to eat during your visit. It commands spectacular views across the site and the extensive menu offers something to tempt all taste buds.
Before you leave us, don’t forget to visit the Museum shop. As well as a wealth of souvenir items you will also find books on canal history and canal artefacts.
